Resources for Researching
Citing your Sources
Now that your research is done you need to write your report and don't forget to cite your sources by creating a Works Cited page.
|
According to MLA style, you must have a Works Cited page at the end of your research paper. All entries in the Works Cited page must correspond to the works cited in your main text.
Check out all the rules and requirements, including the 2009 updates, on the Purdue OWL site. Learn how to site electronic sources, including databases. |
Walking Tour of Andover
Students will each receive a The Ancient World--Alive in Andover! journal to take with them during the walking tour of Andover and Phillips Academy. In the journal students will write down observations from the day and try to meet each of the learning targets outlined below.
Creating a custom Google Map
In groups students will fill out the graphic organizer highlighting their connections to the Ancient World found in Andover locations. They will then create a stop on the Google Maps walking tour sharing information, photographs and more.
Below is the graphic organizer for completing your Google Map location with your group.
